Dust, Particles and Yutaka Makino is an artist and researcher. He holds degrees in science, fine arts and music. His works seek to integrate the historic precedent of electronic music and contemporary techniques in architecture, involving research in microsound synthesis, psycho-acoustic phenomena, spatial perception, form finding, complex dynamical systems, emergence and new materiality. He had performed/exhibited in US, Asia and Europe. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Electronic Music and Sound Design at the Media Arts and Technology, University of California, Santa Barbara under the supervision of Curtis Roads, Marcos Novak and Casey Reas.
